Course Overview

This two-day hands-on workshop presents the basic operations of the Junos Space (version 11.2) Platform and the Service Now and Service Insight applications.

The Junos Space Platform is the necessary underlying foundation for all add-on Junos Space applications. Students will install Junos Space into a multi-node Space Fabric, learn the administrative environment, monitor the Fabric, and perform schema updates. Centralized Junos device management options offered by the Junos Space Platform (including configuration backup, synchronization, Junos image distribution, and application of templates) will be explored. Juniper’s Service Automation strategy using the Junos Space Service Now and Service Insight applications is also covered. Students will learn the key points of preparing the Service Automation environment, verifying the automated collection of troubleshooting data, and confirming submission of the support case to Juniper.

This course is based on Junos Space Release 11.2.


After successfully completing this course, you should be able to:

Course Level

Junos Space is an introductory-level course.


No previous experience with Junos Space is required. Students should have a basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking. Familiarity with Junos-based networking devices is helpful, but not required.
